    Thus confirming my point that small is more expensive, otherwise the large wouldn’t be considered “better value”

    No it’s not. We’re just convinced that we should get ‘more for better value’ – i.e add 50cent for bigger size, ect.

    that’s a logical conclusion; i’ve just recently seen a study that shows pigs eat up to 53% more depending on the size of their troughs.
